Some Summer Spends!!...

Hello cherubs :)

Todays post is all about different MUST HAVE beauty products for the summer and holidays! As i write this it is pouring with rain outside so im guessing i wont have my summer shorts on today. However we are only in the begginning of August so surely we should have some sun left?

Sun Friendly Skin care & Makeup.

Ok so yes we do all love to have a tan on our faces, we do NOT however want to burn our faces and get old more quickly. So bring in Super City Block by Clinique. With an SPF 40 it is ideal to use as a sun protector and also can be used as a makeup primer. Not only to protect against the sun, it also helps to block out enviromental damage that is caused on a day-to-day basis. It retails at £15.50 and you can purchase it from most department stores and online here.

Ideal for all skin type, even sensitive skin!
When using a moisturiser its always ideal for it have an SPF. Check your bottle because you may not even realise yours does. A lot of foundations do too :)

Another important product to have during the summer is a really nourishing after sun. There are two that i have used this summer. Firstly, another Clinique product which is After Sun Rescue. It is so rich with Aloe Vera that not only does it stop you from peeling but also acts as an amazing moisturiser. Retails at £17.50 and you can purchase it online here.

Keep in the fridge for a nice cool down from the heat!
Another after sun i really like is Nivea Sun Moisturising After Sun Spray which i got from Primark for just £4. Its really nourishing and helps to take the sting away from sun burnt skin. You can, as i said pick one up from Primark or Boots.

The pump bottle is really handy.
If your a bit nuts like me and dont like going to the beach with absoluley no makeup on your face then you should really try Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizing Balm. With an SPF 25 its perfect to wear in the sun. I loved using it on my hols as its very nourishing and doesnt feel too thick. It retails at £33 and you can get it here.
So good its won awards :)

To put some colour in your lip in the sun and give them a bit of a sparkle you should try Clinique Long Last Glosswear. It has an SPF 15 to stop your lips burning and comes in 18 yummy colours! My favourite colour is Clearly Pink. It retails at £14.50 and you can pick one of these lovely lippys here.
Perfect for the summer.
